Each medicine shield comes with a removable Power object. In the case of the Animal Medicine Shields, they have a removable fetish of Sterling Silver, Gold or Copper. These power objects can be worn as jewelry. Each piece is hand crafted and designed by Kris In the tradition of his original works under the title of Brotherhood Designs.

Sun & Moon Medicine Shield
The hoop is wild Grape Vine Wrapped in recycled fur from a 1930's hand muff. The Pelt in the center of the hoop is Caribou. The Four Directional ties are wrapped in the colors of the 4 directions and symbolic to the 4 race color of peoples. Each wrap on the ties is adorned with the 4 colors in beads, signifying wholeness of all peoples and places within each direction. We are all Related! The Fetish at the center depicts the Sun (in hammered Copper) overlapped and adorned with the Crescent Moon (Hammered Sterling Silver). The bead that hangs is that of a small Moon Stone, originally from a Rosary from the early 1900's. The Fetish pendant can be removed and worn. Price $77.00 includes tax and shipping.

Rabbit Medicine Shield
The hoop is wild Grape vine. The hide is White Rabbit.
The Feathers are water fowl feathers from the shore of Lake Ontario. Feathers are set in European trade beads from the mid 19th century.
These beads where originally traded to the North East woodland area indigenous people. The Rabbit fetish is a hand crafted and hammered finished 22 gauge Sterling Silver and set with an Obsidian cabochon. Dual Moon Stag Medicine Shield
The hoop is constructed of wild Grape vine and wrapped in the west with Mule Deer hide. The center is Mule Deer as well. The shield is decorated with Pheasant feathers and waterfowl along with the colors of the four directions and races of people.
